Taiwan  BSMI

Introduction:

BSMI is the abbreviation of Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, Ministry of Economic Affair.

All the products fall in BSMI scope must apply BSMI if export/sale in Taiwan market. 

BSMI certification contains both EMC and safety requirement. 

Certification Type:

There are two types of BSMI certification:

• BSMI certificate: For electrical and electronic product, machinery, motor, toys and coating products etc.
• BSMI sDoc: For amplifier etc.

In-country test: Yes
Local representative: Yes
Factory inspection: Required for some categories.
