China CCC household appliance GB 4706 standard upgrade

The new Chinese national standard GB/T 4706.1-2024 <Safety of household and similar electrical appliances—Part 1:General requirements>, and the related products special requirements national standards have been released on July 24, 2024, and will be formally implemented on August 1, 2026.

The requirement are as following:
1. The standards listed on the <Mandatory product certification implementation rules for household and similar use equipment> has been updated (see annex).

2. All the designated certification bodies shall implement CCC certification for household and similar equipment in accordance with the new version of the standard.

3. Motor - compressor (product type code 0704) applies to CCC self-declaration evaluation, need to complete the standard upgrade application in time.

China CCC update: Electric vehicle power supply equipment has been added to CCC catalog.

From March 1, 2025, the designated certification body will begin to accept the electric vehicle power supply equipment CCC application.

From August 1, 2026, electric vehicle power supply equipment that has not obtained CCC certification and marked with certification marks shall not be left factory, sold, imported or used in other business activities.

China Energy Label：Tower and rack servers will be added to the China Energy Label scope from Jun 1st, 2025.

From Jan 1st, 2025, the relevant standard GB 43630-2023 <Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades for tower and rack servers> will come into effective.

From Jun 1st, 2025, the tower and rack servers will be added to the China Energy Label scope.

Products manufactured or imported before June 1, 2025, may be delayed until June 1, 2027 in accordance with the implementation rules.

Singapore IMDA published 2 Technical Standards which are as following:

• TS CBS - Technical Specification for Cellular Base Station and Repeater System
•  
• TS CMT - Technical Specification for Cellular Mobile Terminal

From now on, all the manufactures apply for IMDA applications need to follow the new standard listed as above.
